WELCOME TO AUSTIN'S LANTERNS

Be the light.  Be the change.

On June 10, 2018, 23-year-old Austin Lockwood was killed by a drunk driver. Austin had gone to help this person clean and get a lake home ready for summer.  The driver hit a tree going almost double the speed limit, he had a blood alcohol level almost double the legal limit.  Austin was taken from us instantly.  Our lives forever changed in that moment by a crime that is 100% preventable.

Austin's beautiful face lit up when he smiled.  His smile was contagious, his kind heart unmatched, he touched the lives of everyone he encountered.  Austin lived his life to the fullest.  He worked very hard and loved to have fun.

This lantern is made from excess fencing material from the company he worked for, the company he loved.  We want to keep Austin's light shining while raising awareness to stop impaired driving.

We love you always and forever, Austin.
